stands for "God's Active People" supporting and
ministering to each other, serving the church and community, holding
each other accountable for our own spiritual growth, and effectively
reaching out to the people of our community. All events sponsored by

MEN'S
MINISTRY |
|
The Men's
Ministry of First Baptist Church Raymore, offers a variety of
events throughout the year to help introduce men to an everlasting
relationship with Jesus Christ and Christian men; develop Godly
character; share Christ's love; serve their families, the church
and the community.

MISSIONS |
|
We
support Forest Avenue Shelter, City Union Mission, the North
American and International Mission Boards, and local ministries. We
also are a sister church to Sunrise Baptist Church, Casper, Wyoming.

MUSIC AND WORSHIP MINISTRY |
|
Choirs
for all ages meet regularly. Brass, bell, vocal and other
ensembles and groups lead in worship at various times through the year.

PRAYER MINISTRY |
|
A
welcoming and peaceful prayer room is provided for prayer
intercessors. Prayer request calls are received via an answering
machine at 816.331.PRAY or 816.331.7729. Prayer intercessors commit
to a one-hour weekly time slot to confidentially pray for others
within our church, community, schools, government, mission programs,
nation and world.

ADULT MINISTRY |

Fellowship meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month, except the summer.
Day trips and overnights are also scheduled.

We
seek to provide for the spiritual, social and recreational needs of youth
in the Raymore area by providing a full range of activities.

SUNDAY BIBLE STUDY MINISTRY |
|
Everyone
is invited to attend a Sunday Bible study class to learn more about what the Bible
says and how it applies to your life. Preschool and children's
classes (infants - grade 6) are offered from 9:00-10:30 a.m. Student
(grades 7-12) and adult classes meet from 9:30-10:30 a.m.
