stands for "God's Active People" supporting and
ministering to each other, serving the church and community, holding
each other accountable for our own spiritual growth, and effectively
reaching out to the people of our community. All events sponsored by
G.A.P. are open to everyone.

MEN'S
MINISTRY |
|
Large
men's rallies, such as Promise Keepers are promoted. Small groups
meet regularly. Retreats and seminars are held at various
times.

MISSIONS |
|
We
support Forest Avenue Shelter, City Union Mission, the North
American and International Mission Boards, and local ministries. We
also are a sister church to Sunrise Baptist Church, Casper, Wyoming.

MUSIC AND WORSHIP MINISTRY |
|
Choirs
for all ages meet regularly. Brass, bell, vocal and other
ensembles and groups lead in worship at various times through the year.

PRAYER MINISTRY |
|
A
welcoming and peaceful prayer room is provided for prayer
intercessors. Prayer request calls are received via an answering
machine at 816.331.PRAY or 816.331.7729. Prayer intercessors commit
to a one-hour weekly time slot to confidentially pray for others
within our church, community, schools, government, mission programs,
nation and world.

SENIOR
ADULT MINISTRY |

JOY
Fellowship meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month, except the summer.
Day trips and overnights are also scheduled.

SUNDAY SCHOOL MINISTRY |
|
Everyone
is invited to attend a Sunday School class to learn more about what the Bible
says and how it applies to your life. Classes are offered for all
ages on Sunday mornings at both 8:15 and 9:30 AM. An additional
adult class is also available at 10:45 AM.
