I. THE FOUNDATION FOR A STRONG FAMILY

EXODUS 20:3 Do not have other gods besides Me

DEUTERONOMY 6:6-7

These words that I am giving you today are to be in your heart. Repeat them to your children. Talk about them when you sit in your house and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up

 

The very first foundation stone for building family is to PUT GOD FIRST!

 

II. HOW DO I PUT GOD FIRST?

In My FINANCES

PROVERBS 3:9, Deuteronomy 14:22-23; 1 Corinthians 16:2

Honor the Lord with your possessions and with the first produce of your entire harvest;

 

In My INTERESTS

1 CORINTHIANS 10:31, Ephesians 5:19

Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do everything for God’s glory

 

In My RELATIONSHIPS

PROVERBS 22:24-25

Don’t make friends with an angry man, and don’t be a companion of a hot-tempered man, or you will learn his ways and entangle yourself in a snare.

making the most of the time, because the days are evil.

So don’t be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is.
