ABRAHAM’S JUSTIFICATION!

Romans 4:1-25

 

 

 ABRAHAM WAS JUSTIFIED THROUGH…

I.  FAITH, not WORKS….and so are “WE!”  Romans 4:1-8

 

 1. Abraham “BELIEVED” God’s promise.

 

 2. God justifies the “ungodly”.

 

 3. God “CREDITS” us with righteousness (I John 1:5-7)

 

 

ABRAHAM WAS JUSTIFIED THROUGH…

II. “GRACE” not the “LAW’…and so are “WE!”  Romans 4:9-17

 

 1. Circumcision was a “SIGN” and a “SEAL”

 

 2. Abraham experienced the underserved “LIMITLESS”  

      “KINDNESS” and mercy of God given freely to all men.

 

        3. “WE” are a part of God’s promise to Abraham !

 

ABRAHAM WAS JUSTIFIED THROUGH…

III. “RESURRECTION” “POWER” not human effort…and so are

      “WE”!  Romans 4:18-25

 

 1. God is the one who “REJUVENATES”. 

 

 2. To walk in faith means “DYING” to self so that God can 

      release His saving power.

 

3.  The key is “IF “WE” “BELIEVE”.
