I. The AUTHORITY of the Law

1. I DIED to the Law

2. I was DELIVERED from the LAW

II. The Law’s Ministry

1. IT REVEALS my sin!

2. It AROUSES sin.

3. It KILLS.

 

Part Two!

III. The Inability of the Law.

Remember that Paul explained what the Law is supposed to do in Romans 7:1-13. Now Paul explains what the Law cannot do.

 

THE LAW CANNOT…

 

1. CHANGE You!  (v- 14)

    The law deals with the INNER man, the spiritual part

     of man as well as the outer actions.

 

2. ENABLE You To Do Good! (V- 15-21)

    Which NATURE is in control of your life?

 

3. SET You Free! (V- 21-25)

    The only possible DELIVERANCE is through Jesus

    Christ our Lord!
