The Process of Repentance: “God, I Am Wrong!”

Psalm 51:1-4

Repentance confesses, God I am wrong regardless of what anyone else has done.

 

I. “God, I Am Wrong!

Knowledge of sin does not mean a person will REPENT.

II. Our sin is personal, it is AGAINST GOD!

David’s major sin was that he had BROKEN FELLOWSHIP with GOD.

III. God will DESTROY Sin!

 

Sin is deceptive. It causes people to DECEIVE themselves.

IV. The COST of Sin!

 

Sin can “INFECT” and “AFFECT” an entire body of believers costing  them the blessings of a true revival.

V. God Reveals sin to REDEEM, not CONDEMN!

Romans 7:7

God convicts you of sin, not to discourage you but to REDEEM you.
